An Introduction to Misty's Cornerstone

For over two years, I have received an on-line newsletter from an organization called Christ@Work. I forward the newsletter as an email to a large group of my Christian friends that are either business owners, business professionals, educators, or staff at The McLane Church (www.mclanechurch.org). The information shared in these newsletters always deals with issues business professionals encounter on a daily basis. Like the Christ@work organization, there are people sincerely trying to do what's right in their businesses and in their work environments.

I was inspired through prayer and through my ministry with The Erie Gathering, a Gen X service for young professionals, to start my own Blog. Why? Because God has blessed me with a successful business. Through my business experiences -- all the ups and downs that go along with it -- God has rewarded me when I have my priorities in order. I want to be of value to others: for those dreaming of starting and owning their own business, for those who are faced with making decisions within their work environment that deal with morals and ethics, or for mother's struggling with working while also raising children.

I sincerely pray that Misty's Cornerstone can provide information, resources, and advice to those people in career positions that just need a place to either vent their frustrations or seek solid Christian council through informational postings.

Keeping the main thing, the main thing,
Misty
